American Cultural Center Settled in CIBT International College of Guangzhou University
In the morning of May 28th, Long Distance Interaction Center, Wesleyan College American Cultural Center(ACC) at Guangzhou University (GU) was settled in CIBT International College of GU, which is another significant cooperation between the two schools after the establishment of Confucius Institute in April this year. ACC is going to push forward cultural communication between America and China by organizing International conversation, academic lecture, art performance etc., and brings a more comprehensive introduction of America, including history, philosophy, culture and art to students and teachers in Guangzhou.
Li Yi, President Assistant of GU, together with Hua Tongxu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangzhou Education Bureau, Yu Jianshe, President of GU, Vivia Lawton Fowler, Vice President of Wesleyan College, and Young Lee from Public Affair Section of U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou jointly unveiled the plaque.
