Dr. Darla Domke-Damonte,the Executive Director of Global Initiatives from Coastal Carolina University,visited GUCIBT
On the afternoon of 24th October, Dr. Darla Domke-Damonte, the Executive Director of Global Initiatives from Coastal Carolina University, visited GUCIBT. Kenrick Xu, the Executive Dean of GUCIBT, had a warm meeting with her at the meeting room.
The Executive Dean of GUCIBT, Kenrick Xu extended a warm welcome to them, and gave a brief introduction to Guangzhou University, GUCIBT and the international cooperation strategies. Following was an enthusiastic discussion about issues such as students exchange and the joint cultivation of undergraduate and graduate students, and both parties hoped to enhance the cooperation on the International Program for Undergraduate Students (IPUS).
After the meeting, Kenrick Xu led Dr. Darla Domke-Damonte to visit the GLN classroom on the second floor of Wenyi Building. After that, Dr. Darla Domke-Damonte had a lecture on the study program in Coastal Carolina University and communicated with teachers and students respectively on the two campuses.
During the exchange meeting, Dr. Darla Domke-Damonte shared with students the campus environment, teaching equipment, and accommodation conditions and so on. After the lecture, she also answered the students' questions like the fees for the program, visa application, internship for international students and etc.
