Dr. Duan Yuping from Keele University visited School of Life Science and CIBT International College of Guangzhou University
On the morning of April 12th, Dr. Duan Yuping, special assistant to vice president from Keele University, visited School of Life Science in Guangzhou University(GU). Professor Tian Changen, dean of School of Life Science, and Kenrick Xu, the CIBT Executive Dean, had a meeting with him.
Upon invitation from Dean Tian, Dr. Duan Yuping paid the visit in hope to explore cooperation in International program between Keele University and School of Life Science in GU, discuss details of the “3+1” program, and make preliminary confirmation of collaboration intent in International Program for Undergraduate Studnets (IPUS).
The two sides had a heat discussion on the fields and mode of cooperation, and exchanged their views on research cooperation, academic communication, student training and exchange program, jointly-organized seminar, ect. They agreed that cooperated students cultivation brought deeper understanding of each other, and that is the basic for a further cooperation.
After the meeting, Dean Tian Changen and Executive Dean Kenrick Xu accompanied Dr. Duan Yuping to visit the GLN classroom.
