GLN Education Platform put into operation

13th, April, 2012, after continuous test and modification, the Executive Dean, Kenrick Xu has conducted the real-time video firstly with David Thomas, the GLN (Global Learning Network) Director in Seattle, in the floor 2 of GUCIBT, which means a distance education platform has been operated successfully.

9:50am, the dean, kenrick Xu, dialed to the Seattle GLN classroom and found out both the image and sound were very clear. Furthermore, owing to the cooperation with many universities in Canada, US, UK and Australia, the advanced interactive video conferencing technology and high-speed Internet Connection provided students real-time face to face courses, in the contribution to the International development of Guangzhou University. GUCIBT will open the GLN education platform to the school.

David Thomas gave warm congratulation to Dean Xu and emphasized the function and contribution of GLN. He expressed that he is looking forward to communicate, interact with all the students towards any subjects.

After communication with Professor Thomas, Dean Xu has tested GLN Vancouver location and been satisfied with it.
