Charley Robinson, the Director of International Cooperation with China from the University of Essex, Visited GUCIBT
On the morning of 6h November, Charley Robinson the Director of International Cooperation with China from the University of Essex, visited GUCIBT. Kenrick Xu, the Executive Dean of GUCIBT had a warm meeting with the guest at the meeting room and arranged an exchange meeting for her to introduce the international study-abroad program by the University of Essex to the teachers and students in Guangzhou University.
The Executive Dean, Kenrick Xu, extended a warm welcome to Charley Robinson from the University of Essex, and gave a brief introduction to Guangzhou University, GUCIBT and the international cooperation strategies. Following was an enthusiastic discussion about issues such as students exchange and the joint cultivation of undergraduate and graduate students, and both parties hoped to enhance the cooperation on the International Program for Undergraduate Students (IPUS).
After the meeting, Kenrick Xu led Charley Robinson to have a lecture on international study-abroad program by the University of Essex.
Charley Robinson shared with students the campus environment, teaching equipment, and accommodation conditions and so on. After the lecture, she also discussed enthusiastically with students who had questions and answered the students' questions in the aspects such as internship for international students and work after graduation and etc.
